1. What's your name, please? 你叫什么名字？
2. My name is Bush. 我姓布什。
3. Your first name, please? 你的名字是什么呢？
4. My first name is Peter. 我的名字叫彼特。
5. How do you spell your last name? 你的姓怎么拼法？
6. Bush. B-U-S-H. 布什，B-U-S-H.
7. What's your sister's name? 你姐姐叫什么名字？
8. Her name is Lily. 她叫莉莉。
9. Lily and Lucy are good friends. 莉莉和露西是好朋友。
10. Is he Lucy's little brother? 他是露西的小弟弟吗？
11. Yes, he is. 是，他是。
12. This is Mrs. White. 这是怀特太太。
13. Mrs. White, this is Mr. Bush. 怀特太太，这是布什先生。
14. Nice to see you. 见到您很高兴。

A. 助动词can, could, may, might, must
a) can主要表示能够、可以（它的否定形式can not常紧缩为can’t）
Who can prove it? 谁能证明这一点？
We can call you at nine.我们可以九点钟来叫你
b) could可以作can的过去式
He could not follow their argument.他听不明白他们的争论
He said he couldn’t come.他说他不能来
c) could表示客气地提出请求、看法
Could you lend me your car?你能把车借给我吗？
Yes, his story could be true.对，他的说法可能是真的。
d) may表示可能、或许
May I come in the morning?我能早上来吗？
May he go there with you? 他可以和你一起去那里吗？
e) might可以作may的过去式
She might be in her office.她或许当时在她的办公室。
f) must表示必须、一定要，可用于任何时间
We must leave early.我们必须早点动身。
You must finish everything in time.你一定要及时干完一切。
g) 否定式must not常紧缩为mustn’t，表示一定不要
You mustn’t forget to phone her. 你一定不要忘了给她打电话。
h) 在回答包含must的问句时，若是肯定回答可用must，若是否定回答，要用needn’t
Must we finish everything tonight?我们要今晚完成一切吗？
Yes, you must.是的，必须今晚完成
No, you needn’t.不，不必今晚完成
